Why every part of the vacuum cleaner has to be at it's best

By Kristina Brown

A canister vacuum cleaner can create a great deal of suction, but in order to make that suction useful the canister requires a hose. Every canister vacuum cleaner has a hose, however some perform and last better than others. In this article I will explain the benefits of having a Miele Hose as opposed to a hose from another brand.

One of the most amazing things about Miele is the rigorous testing they perform on all of their products in their German Facilities. Every piece Miele makes needs to be able to handle years of use and if a part does not do as well as it should in Miele's testing it is discarded. A piece is only known as a Miele piece when it has passed the test of durability, ease of use and more.

A lot of vacuum cleaner hoses on the market today are prone to crushing in and being warped out of position. Many manufacturers are away that if someone was to step on their hose it would have to be replaced, yet still manufacture the same kind of hose. Miele steered away from the pack by creating a hose that will not warp if stomped on. Using German Engineering, Miele created a hose that return to its natural circular shape regardless of how many times you step on it.

Another common problem seen in vacuum cleaners today is a weak hose connection. The weak hose connection tends to break, costing the user money for a repair and a new part. Thankfully Miele tested their hose connection by hanging the vacuum from the hose with 5 Kg extra at the end of the vacuum. Miele performed this test to make sure that their hose connections will outlast the average hose connection.

When using a vacuum cleaner it is important that the hose sits right and feels good in your hand. That is exactly why Miele constructed an ergonomic hose handle. The handle feels strong, sturdy and nice in your hand. Miele also made sure that they lined the back of the hose handle with rubber to help prevent the hose from slipping from your hands.

Does the hose handle have any controls built-in? The Miele hose handle has a convenient powerhead on/off switch. This switch allows you to turn the powerhead off so you can go right on the bare floors after vacuuming your rugs/carpeting or vice-versa.

It is rare for a person to only vacuum their floors when vacuuming. Usually a person will also vacuum upholstery, lampshades, drapes and more. That is exactly why Miele put suction controls in their top-of-the-line vacuum cleaner. You can adjust the suction to accommodate all of the different things you need to vacuum with the touch of a button on the handle.

Miele is known for being "Immer Besser" or "Forever Better". Miele takes pride in their work and over 100 years of experience. To uphold the Miele promise of "Forever Better", Miele makes sure that only the best vacuums and parts are produced in Miele's German factories. After seeing the beautiful German engineering in a Miele vacuum cleaner you will see why they are "Forever Better". - 17607
